Week 1

We will dive into the research...

The truth about happy relationships.

What does make relationships work?

How the research can predict divorce with over 90% accuracy.

...and learn about our first principle.

Understand your partner on deeper levels by enhancing your love maps together.

Week 2

In week 2, we're jumping in with both feet and exploring three principles..

Nurturing fondness and admiration for a rock solid friendship, the foundation of all relationships.

Turning towards each other instead of away: recognising and engaging with your partner's bids of attention, and how to be seen and heard.

Letting your partner influence you. We'll look at how to let your guard down and put your ego to one side during vulnerable moments.

...plus we'll learn about two kinds of conflict to understand

The difference between solvable and perpetual problems.

The keys to managing conflict in the most efficient and gentle way possible.

Week 3

Week 3 is all about tackling solvable problems. We'll look at...

How to soften your approach for a wanted response.

Making and receive repair attempts during conflict.

Keeping a cool head during heated moments.

How to turn your conflicts into win-win situations.

...and troubleshoot the most common solvable problems

Distractions, stress, In-laws, money, housework, parenting, sex... What are the typical solvable problems for you?

Week 4

In our final week together we will...

Overcome gridlock! Together we'll explore how to work with perpetual problems that are not solvable.

Identify your own triggers and how that impacts your relationship.

...and we'll wrap up with my favourite principle: Create Shared Meaning

You will learn how to create and foster a culture within the relationship based on your shared values and goals.

So altogether you'll get

4 weekly interactive date nights packed full of information and activities and led by Gottman leader and relationship therapist, Pam Custers
